The stairway, and both fireplaces were demo'ed

In the third week we decided that the problem of getting all the flues and vents through the small space would be a lot easier if we got rid of the fireplace downstairs.  That fireplace was seldom used and it took a lot of space. 

We would have lost a week if that decision were not made early.
